I have long believed that “Politics” is nothing more than applied worldview.
It is what we do with what we believe.
It isn’t a surprise that the most circulated pieces I’ve ever written apart from “Shade for the Children” and “Children for Sale” have nothing and yet everything to do with “Politics”.
What is a Woman?” (recently picked up by Newsmax) and most recently “He Calls Me Beauty” struck a nerve.
I can think of few things closer to the heart of God than Marriage, Family, and Children which is why these pieces likely resonated so strongly with my readers.
We all live in the tension between the Garden and the Fall.
We all long for a Redemption Story.
“He Calls Me Beauty Part 2” left off with my husband of 30 plus years asking me to remarry him…
We renewed our vows last month on a white sand beach off the coast of Florida and we finally took a honeymoon 30 years in the making.
Marriage is the best, hardest, worst, sweetest, most beautiful ugly adventure you will ever embark upon.
And if you are really, really lucky (blessed)…
You’ll do it twice with the same person…
And you won’t be able to stop smiling...
And thanking God for writing for you a Second Act so much more beautiful than you could have ever written for yourself.
Proverbs 128:3…
****An incredibly heartfelt thank you to Lindsey and her precious husband at Emerald Coast Marriage for making our Vow Renewal Ceremony the sweetest, most effortless (and affordable), flawless experience of a lifetime…and for unparalleled photography. You were truly Heaven sent, and we are eternally grateful!
Amazing
What a beautiful couple on an exquisite beach. Bride magazine: take note.
