I pray that none of your readers interpret this post as a license to not vote. There are many issues that I personally have with Donald J. Trump. We're all praying that his recent brush with assassination draws him closer to God, and that by drawing closer he changes his position on many things including: 1.) Abortion "exceptions"; 2.) Homosexuality tolerance; 3.) He should also confess his shortcomings on the COVID plandemic; and other issues. However, Christians and all American citizens have a civic responsibility to vote. Not voting is tantamount to being the "wicked slave" who buried his talent (vote/voice) in the ground, as described by Jesus in the Parable of the Talents. Get registered, VOTE, and encourage others to do the same. "Part of what’s wrong with America is that Christians have retreated from the public square. Even if our true home is in Heaven, we have an obligation to be an influence for good in our culture here on earth." [Alex McFarland] - https://youtu.be/Zr-H08ZoJj4?si=r8enk35lV8hVz8Uj

I’m struggling. I’m not sure I will cast a vote. I’ve been struggling for years. I’m not convinced our voting system is legitimate and secure. I’ve watched movies and read books for years based on truth where the US government manipulated voting and leadership in other countries. Why I thought they wouldn’t do the same here is beyond me. I’m not sure my vote is as valuable as I was led to believe it was. I want to be wrong. I was moved to show up and stand up against tyranny and lies in 2020. We were a small, energetic, vocal group. We were a small group of activists from around NC. I perceive 2020 was the time to get stirred and activate and yet most didn’t.

Why do you think our votes matter?

I may be wrong but I think “they” will pick the winner. I think Trump will win. If I’m reading the signs - I think he will win.

If I cast a vote will I feel good about voting for him.

No

1. I don’t think my vote matters. I think votes can be re-directed - thousands - in 3-7 seconds.

2. I think there are powerful people who decide who is placed in positions of power. More importantly, I think God is sovereign and he allows people to be placed in positions of power, authority.

3. I fear God, not man. When giving account am I prepared to defend my choice of supporting a person who advocates killing babies?

Why do people think they have the right to decide which conceptions live and which conceptions are killed - regardless of how that life was conceived?

Jesus is the author of LIFE. HE IS the AUTHOR of CONCEPTIONS.

I pray we stand in strength and courage and proclaim Jesus is Lord!

I pray we are courageous, energetic Christians every moment of everyday.

I pray Christians use their voices to proclaim Jesus is Lord and share the gospel with lost, broken, hurting and tormented souls everyday that God places a person on our path who needs to hear about salvation and truth.

I think Christians had a civic duty to show up and stand up against the tyranny and lies that were so obvious in 2020. I’m grateful for the ones I met in the public square.
