I was angry, bewildered, and saddened by the entire NC Republican GOP. I held to the hope we would be at least heard. Many would I handed the Medical Freedom and Abolition of Abortion resolutions to seemed interested and supportive. The ones who had the most on the line were the people We the People put in office to represent and uphold the constitution and they all failed to deliver. When I explained what had happened to many within my circle they were confused and concerned why our own NC Republican GOP and Lt Gov would even not take a stance on these two resolutions. I was proud to stand in the gap with my fellow grassroot NC republicans on these two resolutions and still hold the light that we will be heard.
Witnessed your Herculean efforts to pass the resolution. Would love to talk about ways to make a meaningful change to our state law instead of just passing a resolution at a party meeting.
Your passion towards this subject is impressive and will be successful if done right.
The "previous question" motion shuts down debate. The "motion to adjourn" shuts down the day's (or year's) business. Those who fight against us are aware, and they run to the microphones when the light tries to shine into the darkness. Those rank & file grassroots delegates who hold a Biblical Worldview are silenced when the convention chair acknowledges those two motions. The rules are designed to shut down the filibuster which presents the only opportunity for Godly delegates to be heard. Like changing the country & the world, the only thing that will change the GOP is winning & discipling souls. Merely "being" a Christian won't suffice. Baby & lukewarm "Christians" are less likely to be obedient to the their Lord, much less the US Constitution or the GOP Party Platform. Changing the rules won't work. We must plant the seeds, water planted seeds, and reap the harvest. Newborn Christians then must be discipled and obedient. Only then will Godly change take place.
Unfortunately, politics kill. And I am not talking about the unrighteous, but the righteous. Politics kill reputation of righteous men and women standing with truth, love, and good intention. Politics kill the pursuit of truth only to favor earthly pursuits of wicked men. And evil loves company. The very injustice invoked by the deceit of evil men to have given you the hope to have had your voice heard will not go unnoticed by God. And although waiting on God's will does nobody on the side of truth and righteousness much comfort, it is still His will. What the righteous need is for God fearing leaders to stand in courage against the evil allowed amongst their fellow leaders. They need to not only call out against fear, tyranny, complacency and entitlement of any and all special interests, but they need to act against it. They need to stand against the allowance of these things just to line their pockets, and solidify their power. I continue to pray for God to act against leaders who bend the knee and/or compromise the very values against righteousness.

The seeds were planted. Our efforts were not waisted.
I will not be weary and none of us will be silenced or go quietly into the night.
We could not have reached across the state without the Lord knitting each of us together and the warriors championing along side of us this weekend.
There is hope to have a bill sponsored. I have one invitation and others that may come on board.
May God’s will be done.
I will not ever stop speaking the truth and being the voice for the voiceless.
We will stand in the gap.
There is hope. I know I will not stop. I will never be deterred.
It only makes me stronger and resolute!!
We are all knitted together for His purpose!
We soldier on!
