It was obvious to those of us fighting for abortion abolition at the North Carolina Republican State Convention in May that we were out of place.
Unwelcome.
And then came the rumors that the 2016 National Republican Platform was about to be stripped of ALL language protecting life from conception, identifying and protecting marriage as one man and one woman, and strongly defining and affirming our long standing alliance with the nation of Israel.
How quickly they turned into a Hurricane.
The 2024 National Republican Party Platform Final Draft (up for vote to adopt next week in Wisconsin) has indeed scrubbed the Platform of ALL protection of life from conception.
The new language opposes only “late term abortions”.
Gone is all language recognizing life at conception and seeking to constitutionally protect it.
Gone is all language seeking to end the use of Children for Sale.
Size and location determine the value of human life thereby erasing the sanctity of ALL human life.
Gut wrenching.
All language identifying marriage as “one man and one woman” is gone.
Protecting the “Sanctity of Marriage” without identifying the definition of marriage is (intentionally) impossible.
All language affirming our strong alliance with Israel is gone (replaced only with vague language around “anti-Semitism” (Page 14, Article 8.6) and “standing with Israel” without any explanation of what that means. (Page 16, Article 10.3)
Woe to the people and the nation that forsakes the blessing and the warning of Genesis 12:3…
“I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you, I will curse; and all the peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”
Tony Perkins wrote a Press Release explaining how North Carolina’s own Michael Whatley and top national GOP leaders accomplished the hijacking of the Platform.
You can appeal to your RNC delegates (to return to the 2016 Platform and add the stripped language back in through a Minority Report) via the “Contact your Delegates” link at the Platform Integrity Project .
I personally doubt the effectiveness of such appeals (I’ve seen first hand what the GOP does with Minority Reports) though I have already contacted both North Carolina Platform Committee delegates—Kevin Austin and Martha Jenkins, as well as, Michael Whatley.
Appeals can also be made directly to our North Carolina National Committeeman and Committeewoman, Ed Broyhill (Ed@broyhillrnc.com) and Kyshia Brassington (Kyshial@gmail.com).
The reality of the situation is this…
The proposed 2024 Republican Party Platform is not a platform.
It is a campaign Preamble and the decree of a King.
I was shocked when Donald Trump blamed Pro-Life Americans for mid-term losses.
I grieved when Trump began to host gay weddings at Mar-a-Lago—openly celebrating that which God calls an abomination.
My heart sank when Melania Trump announced that Log Cabin Republicans would be her first stop on the 2024 campaign trail.
They have not hidden from us their agenda.
To understand the mission of Log Cabin Republicans and the influence they have exercised in stripping the Republican Party Platform of its position protecting the definition of marriage as one man and one woman, study their “About Us” page—particularly the subsection, “Creating Change”.
It is straight out of the pages of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals.
I am not leaving the Party.
The Party is leaving me.
I bow my head and bend my knee to only one King and His name is Jesus not Donald Trump.
He makes nations great, and destroys them; He enlarges nations, and disperses them. —Job 12:23
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of the Lord stands forever. —Isaiah 40:8
Any Party that purges the Word of the Lord on Sanctity Issues will have sealed its own fate and the fate of a nation.
But the fate of the believer is sealed in Christ.
Fear not, follower of Jesus…
Pray.
Having done all else…
Stand.
But if it comes to it…
Be willing to stand with the remnant outside the camp…
So Jesus also suffered outside the gate in order to sanctify the people through his own blood. Therefore let us go to him outside the camp and bear the reproach He endured. For here we have no lasting city, but we seek the city that is to come. —Hebrews 13:12-14

More from Family Research Council on the RNC Debacle…
“I cannot compromise biblical truth to advance a temporal political objective.”
My husband is a NC Delegate at the National Convention. I will be with him. I want to help make a difference for the sanctity of life, of marriage and of what Christianity is really all about. The wheat grows up with the tares. Humans are not omniscient, but we do have the Holy Spirit to impart wisdom and discernment. Tara what suggestions do you have for me as I navigate this Convention?
Tara, can you help me understand why you believe the current state of Isreal is who our Christian Bible is referring to from your pull quote?
Secondly, Isreal is not worthy of our alliance. They are not our greatest ally and have been using the United States for 70 years. How can we hate the money sent to Ukraine but "bless" Isreal without question?
Third, jews (Israelis) who are not messianic do not believe in the same God as Christians. In fact, according to the Talmud jews believe Christ is boiling in actual fetal matter in hell right now for being a false prophet.
Fourth, why are we providing extra protections for a ethnoReligous group who hates us.
You are aware it is the jewish interest groups who are fighting for abortion right? Those groups are why abolitionist van gain ground and why the parry platform has devolved.
It might be time to examine Romans and understand the "chosen people" are messianic now and not demon worshipers like the current lot.
Protestants have been subverting through Darby and Zionism.
