This is the greatest speech I have ever heard delivered at a North Carolina Republican Convention.
Please take the time to listen and then carefully read through the transcript below.
Take the time to wrap your mind around the Godless behavior of the North Carolina Republican Party under its current leadership.
I have been genuinely ashamed of the behavior of the NCGOP for the last many years and have often felt sickened to be associated with it.
Aryn Schloemer (founder of North Carolina Grassroots Government PAC), delivered this speech just feet away from Phil Berger—who like Michael Whatley, Tim Moore, and Jason Simmons hold responsibility for the darkness that defines North Carolina Republican Politics.
This is what it looks like to stand on the wall.
This is what it looks like to speak Truth to power.
This is what it looks like to expose darkness…
Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. —Ephesians 5:11
By the way, if you don’t think it can get worse under the current leadership—think again.
We are hearing that the Republicans in the NCGA are ONCE AGAIN taking up Medical Marijuana NEXT month and this time, the Freedom Caucus may not have the votes to stop it.
These “Republicans” will stop at nothing to destroy this state.
If you are not involved, you better get involved quickly.
God is calling us to take a stand for righteousness and justice and to do so within our own party.
See you on the wall…

Two aspects of any successful organization are the mission statement and the follow up.
The NCGOP has a superior platform, but a total lack of follow up.
From US Senate to our locally elected politicians, there are grave discrepancies between the decisions being made and our platform.
This blatant disregard dilutes our party and could explain why NCGOP missed the 2024 Red Wave.
It’s unimaginable that Republicans hold a distant third against a party calling for the mutilation & sterilization of children, open borders, forced vaccination, pornography in schools, etc.
There’s a simple explanation…
Instead of abolishing abortion, our Republican Supermajority gave us a 24 week bill…
Instead of securing our elections, the Republican Supermajority did not purge the bloated voter rolls, kept the voting tabulating machines, passed a bill that doesn’t differentiate between lawful voters and illegals given a real ID…
Instead of ridding our schools of porn, ensuring medical freedom…
Our party is busy passing online sports gambling, expanding Medicaid, keeping certificate of need, legalizing video gaming machines, legalizing marijuana, and legalizing casinos.
So while the rest of the country is having a Revival with Bible sales going through the roof, we are talking about casinos.
The cultural pendulum has finally swung back to reality— unfortunately the NCGOP is on the wrong side of history and is therefore not reaping the benefits.
I promise, as chair to hold our elected leaders accountable…
Having 1000 Republicans who don’t share our values doesn’t mean anything.
If you were running a business and half the people were doing the wrong thing…
What would happen?
That is all I have to say.
